Neumann TLM103 & Sennheiser MKH 416
My main microphone is the Neumann TLM 103 adds a “brighter” sound & is great match for my voice on the narration projects which I love. The Sennheiser MKH 416 packs a much bigger punch and brings an “edgy” sound that can be very effective at cutting through music and FX.
Universal Audio Volt 276
Universal Audio created the Volt 276 audio interface for producers to who want to easily record audio with the big studio tone which is the reason I love it. The Volt 276 delivers superior studio sound quality, with more character and tone than any interface in its class. It’s a great upgrade from my previous workhorse.
Adobe Audition & Izotope Rx10
Izotope RX 10 is my software of choice for any audio cleanup. From getting rid of mouth clicks and pesky breaths. Occasionally I apply a very small amount of Waves NS1 on non-audiobook work. Waves Renaissance Vox plugin is a great VO compressor that I use if I want to add just a little more “punch”.
